It's official... the flip house is sold! We closed on June 27th. We are so thankful that it sold quickly, and Chris is already looking for another one. (Does anyone else remember that he said "My advice is to never do it" on his post back in March?) Anyway, I am very proud of my husband for getting it flipped so quickly and being really proactive about getting it sold. We'll keep you posted on any further purchases.

Backing Up a Little...
I know I posted pictures of Chris's sister's wedding back in March, but I failed to put these up. Kaylee had to have curls for her stint as a flower girl, so Aunt Brenda put in the hot rollers. You will now witness the two sides of Kaylee:

The Mondays
Am I the only mother in this world brave enough to take two small children, ages 3 and 9 months, to two different grocery stores by myself at nap time? Seeing it in print makes it seem like a far worse idea now than it did at the time ("the time" being mere hours ago). The conversation went something like this:
`
Kaylee: Mommy, can I help?
Me: Sure.
K: I got the mushrooms for you, Mommy.
M: Thanks. Put them in the cart, please.
K: OK. I poked a hole in them for you.
M: Great. Climb on the cart and don't get down for a little while.
`
She did as she was told, and the next event happened without conversation. Let's just say my loaf of whole wheat bread has a large divot right in the middle. Sheesh.

It's over the river and through the woods...
The girls and I had a fun time at Pa Pa and Grandma's house last week. Can you tell?

What a Night...
Have you ever been awakened by a noise so strange that you can't help but bolt out of bed without even saying a word? I have. And if you thought there was any chance a 2-block radius around your house could look like this, you'd jump out of bed too.
None of these pictures were taken at our house. In fact, we can't really see any significant damage at our house at all. However, a lot of people very near us have major damage, so please keep the people of Omaha, Nebraska in your prayers. I will try to post more pictures later.
