Yesterday was Chris's 29th birthday. We celebrated last night with two other couples and had a great time grilling brats and eating cupcakes. With 6 kids among us, the house was pretty hoppin'. It was nice outside, so we shipped half of the kids out there to play. It was lots of fun, and we're already looking forward to a summer full of cookouts with friends!

hilarious... (not being from the midwest) when i first read the part about "grilling brats", i didn't think of bratwursts, but brats... as in (unpleasant children, little monster, spoiled brat)... i was wondering who's children you were grilling! :0)
